I’m of the let him play mindset before we just dump him. Conforto starting the year in the minors may not be ideal, but I’d rather give Bruce a chance to establish some value.

Never liked the Bruce trade to begin with. Never liked Bruce as a player to begin with. Too bad the Mets can’t just re-do the trade with Cinci and get Herrera back. At this point, they should just hold on to him until someone has a need. Hopefully Baltimore or Toronto come back into the picture with some interest.

I’m still amazed the Mets gave up Dilson Herrera for him last year. Brandon Nimmo was originally supposed to be the trade chip, but that got nixed because of his medicals. He was an understandable piece to give up- he seems like a tweener. Herrera seems to have real upside, though. Mets had no need in the outfield.
