You realize my comment (still awaiting moderation I might add) that you’re referencing actually stated that it was “another lazy thinkpiece” — keyword LAZY not L-A-D-Y.

Put a player in a quilt – same reaction as woman’s garb or someone parading around in his briefs in some other revealing costume.

So says this female – I don’t see this as gender issue.

The real issue I believe is the hazing and humiliation that might make some players unwilling participants but participate to fit in. That’s the value I think of the new CBA rule. Far less about gender, than protecting players personal privacy not to be paraded around, overly exposed.
