That Montero would pitch on the road had nothing to do with the purported “hostile environment” which led the Mets to start Matt Harvey in Milwaukee instead of at Citi Field. Saturday would just be the next time the team had a hole in the rotation.  Then it drizzled. As mentioned in the article, Sewald was also used in the previous night’s blowout. I don’t have a big problem taking Gsellman out after 6 since he hadn’t started in a while and had only bullpen appearances recently.
