Captain David Wright: You did what you had to do for you and that is fine although you faced much criticism in the last couple of years. You are going out your way and that is what matters in the end. You were (thankfully) through the Met organization able to give it your best shot in attempting to return to the position you love but , unfortunately ,your body said no more too much was at stake for you. Know that you will not be forgotten especially by this Met Fan and possibly you will find contentment in helping future Met players reach their potential. God speed and thanks for the memories enjoy our family!⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️
