Then Kate Morrison of Baseball Prospectus and WFAA joins the show to engage in prospect discussion, the Texas Rangers, and a little ballpark news. Of course, the show is nearly three hours long, so there’s also much discussion of other topics, all the James Loney you can handle, more top five lists than a Nick Hornby novel, and much, much more.

The guys managed to reduce the podcast’s run-time to that of a Paul Feig film, rather than a Peter Jackson movie, and this one is filled with terrific #content. This episode–Half-way Between Misery and the Sun–features copious talk about the good (Noah Syndergaard) and bad (Eric Campbell) of the future Mets.

Best of all, the gents are joined by Corrine Landry of Crashburn Alley, The Hardball Times, and FanGraphs to talk about the surprising, unsustainable(?) Phillies.

Hello there. We here at BP Mets are excited to announce the debut of our site’s podcast: “For All You Kids Out There.” It’s hosted by Jeffrey Paternostro and Jarrett Seidler, whom you may know from the Internet, or perhaps your local minor league baseball stadium.

The first episode of the show–What Kind Of Month It Has Been–features guest David Roth of Vice Sports (and also the Internet). There is much talking of the team’s hottest, most talented pitcher (Bartolo Colon) and also the big silly dude (Noah Syndergaard). I may have gotten those two confused, but probably not.

(Also, if you bet that a West Wing reference in the title of the first episode, you win … but the odds were probably something like 1-500. No money for you.)

Holy crap. This episode is three hours long. Also, check out the podcast at BlogTalkRadio and on the Twitter machine.

Let’s go Mets! (–Bryan G.)
