For All You Kids Out There, Episode 34: “Frank Sinatra has a cold”

In Episode 34 of For All You Kids Out There, a gravelly-voiced and coughing pair of co-hosts meander through the meager Mets news of the week. In the first half of the show we talk about all the relievers the Mets aren’t signing and when they might actually get some of that vaunted payroll flexibility back. It might involve trading Jay Bruce which we also discuss for what seems like the tenth straight week. There’s also Hall of Fame and prospect list chat.

In the second half of the show we are joined by Baseball Prospectus writer Meg Rowley who makes an impassioned play for a second season of Pitch and a Hall of Fame plaque for Edgar Martinez.

In the third half of the show we answer your correspondence and try to figure out what is the plan for Wrestlemania.

E- Mart did not play a position. Ortiz did not play a position. Both shouldn’t be hall-of-famers.
