The Mets closed out the All-Star Break with a 6-0 loss to the Cardinals to end the first half 39-47, in fourth place in the division and 10.5 games back in the Wild Card.
The good
We get four days without having to watch the Mets lose (except for Michael Conforto, who might get more playing time during the All-Star Game than he does on non-Sunday games for his actual team).
The bad
Steven Matz gave up five runs in 4.1 innings. The Mets scratched across just three hits. Everyone is sad.
The ugly
There are 76 games left.
